Criteria
Applicants will be chosen on a first come first serve basis, as long as the following criteria is met.
- Graduated and have earned a STEM degree from a U.S. accredited school
- Currently employed
- Currently making payments towards loans and have not defaulted on loans
We will be accepting the first group of applicants who meet the above criteria in order of application submission date. The number of initial applications accepted will depend on funding received.
University and Loan Type
We are only funding degrees earned at U.S. accredited universities. The loan can be a federal loan, private loan, or a graduate school loan, as long as it is an educational loan.
Verifications
After submitting your application, if you meet the selection criteria, you will receive an email with additional information as to how to proceed. You will receive a link directing you to a third party website, Barada Associates, in order to verify your application information.
We will be verifying the following information.
- Education information
- Employment information
- Student loan information
Please note, this is not a complete background check. The verifications are only to confirm the above information, and to be sure it matches the information submitted in the application. This will require a soft pull on your credit report to verify the student loan information, but it should not in any way affect your credit score.
Funding
Our total number of applicants accepted, as well as the amount of funding each applicant will receive, will depend on the amount of funding available, and may change if additional funding becomes available.
Once your application has been accepted and the verifications completed, we will request that you provide us with third party authorization in order to apply payments directly to your loans.
